ABSTRACT:
After 10 years, many implants begin to show biological or prosthetic complications that compromise both function and aesthetics.
Traditionally, this often meant removing and replacing restorations, an invasive and costly process. In this lecture, Dr. Francesca Vailati will share her prosthodontic/restorative approach that allows clinicians to “recycle” existing implant restorations instead of removing them.
By using non-invasive, bonded composite restorations, dentists can correct failures, improve function, and extend the life of implant-supported restorations. This strategy not only simplifies treatment and reduces costs for patients, but also empowers clinicians to manage complications with a more predictable solutions which does not destabilize patients too much, expecially the dysfunctional ones.
